2017 - Harvard University - CS50x

CS50x is run by Harvard University and is the online version of their computer science course. It started at the very basics using Scratch and then worked its way up to much more complex assignments. The majority of the course is done in C and then moves from that onto Python and then into web development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I took this course so I could have much more general knowledge of general computer science techniques, as oppose to just web development knowledge.

2016 - Udemy - The Web Developer Bootcamp

In 2016 I decided to take an online web development course to try and improve my skills, I choose the Udemy course as it covered a huge range of modern topics and techniques. It first started with the frontend, including HTML, CSS and libraries such as Bootstrap. JavaScript was covered in-depth, and this was the majority of the course. JQuery was also covered for some time, before it moved onto the back-end. NodeJS and Express were used for this continuing with the theme of JavaScript. Some more advanced topics such as databases and authentication were also covered. The course ended with some github and more advanced JavaScript. You can view the course here for more information.
